About the Role :

We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.

We are currently expanding our team based in Brisbane, QLD and are seeking a Water Resources Engineer / Scientist on a permanent full-time basis.

Key responsibilities and activities include :

• Catchment and water balance modelling.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.
• Water monitoring data interpretation and analysis.
• Development of environmental / water monitoring and management plans.
• Environmental reporting and assessments.
• Environmental auditing.
• Interpretation and application of guidelines, legislation, and policy relating to water management (e.g. ANZG, Development Consent).
• Preparation of scientific and technical reports.
• Project management and client liaison.
• Mentoring of graduate / junior staff.
• Some travel and site work may be required intermittently.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill requirements include :

Possess a relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar.Have 3+ years' experience in a similar position, providing advice to the mining, construction, energy, industrial processing, or public sectors.Be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to prioritise tasks, work autonomously and contribute to a positive team culture both in the local office and for ATC Williams more broadly.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Have prior experience in environmental data analysis and hydrological / hydraulic modelling .Experience in mine water management would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
