About The Opportunity

Corestaff is seeking a Yard Hand with scrap metal oxy cutting experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

About The Position

Our client, a reputable company focused on ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling near Wingfield, is seeking a Yard Hand with experience in scrap metal work.

  • Sorting, processing, and grading scrap metal.
  • Operating the forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks.
  • Carrying out general warehouse, yard, and weighbridge duties.
  • Oxy cutting of scrap metal into smaller, manageable pieces.
About You
  • Previous experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role.
  • Oxy cutting experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • A current forklift and HR license (Highly Regarded).
  • Additional operational tickets (Highly Regarded).
  • A good knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals (Highly Regarded).
