Legal Recruitment Director at Richmond Search
Join a prestigious boutique Melbourne law firm known for a sophisticated client base and bespoke, high quality legal advice. With a client base spanning ASX listed corporates, developers, major retailers and commercial landlord/tenants, they seek a bright junior lawyer to join their real estate team to advise on a broad range of transactions spanning off-the-plan residential developments, high value capital transactions, leasing, and M&A related real estate matters.
Responsibilities- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements such as leases (commercial, retail, industrial) and sales contracts.
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and retail property assets.
- Advising on industrial and residential off-the-plan sales.
- Working with the Corporate team on the real estate aspects of major M&A transactions.
- Solid academic results in your law degree from a reputable law school.
- Admission as a solicitor with 1–2 years of property experience. The firm will consider candidates with other non-contentious experience if there is a demonstrably strong interest in property
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
This role offers hands-on exposure to high-profile real estate matters with mentorship from three partners who are highly regarded in their field. The firm will actively encourage you to take more responsibility when ready, work closely with their trusted clients and, with time, take a more strategic role on transactions. The working hours are reasonable and the firm/team culture is collaborative and respectful.
