We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineer to join one of our most recognized and well-respected global clients in the Heavy Engineering Mining & Special Purpose Machinery industry.

Role:

This role involves acting as a Senior Mechanical Engineer working on design-focused projects, from client meetings through to detailed engineering and delivery.

You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior designers and engineers, as well as signing off on finished works.

Person:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in a heavy engineering environment and possess the following skills:

  • 3D Design Skills - Inventor / SolidWorks
  • Experience in Heavy Engineering / Materials Handling / Special Purpose Machinery Design
  • Understanding of Structural Analysis
  • Exposure to Mobile Plant
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience
Remuneration:

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience, typically in the range of $115,000 - $125,000 + Super (Negotiable).
