Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to lead complex engineering projects that drive real change across Australia's industrial landscape? Alliance Automation is expanding in Newcastle, and we're looking for a standout Engineering Project Manager to take the reins on high-impact projects across the Mining & Resources, Water/Wastewater, and Heavy Industry sectors.

This is your chance to step into a role where your leadership, technical expertise, and client focus will be front and centre. You'll manage multiple control systems projects, working with some of the most respected names in industry, while being backed by a team that values your contribution and invests in your growth.

We're looking for someone who's proactive, reliable, and confident in their ability to lead. You'll be a natural communicator, a strategic thinker, and someone who knows how to deliver results without compromising quality or safety.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the full lifecycle of engineering projects — from concept to commissioning
  • Collaborating with clients to define scope, requirements, and success outcomes
  • Building and managing project budgets and schedules with precision
  • Driving the design, development, and delivery of high-performance control systems
  • Ensuring every project meets our high standards — on time and on spec
  • Providing ongoing support and building long-term client relationships
  • Championing a strong HSEQ culture across all aspects of project delivery
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in resource planning and project management
  • A track record of success in Mining & Resources, Water/Wastewater, or Heavy Industry
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills
  • Leadership that inspires teams and drives results
  • Hands-on expertise in PLC/SCADA system design, development, FAT and commissioning

This isn't just another PM role — it's a chance to lead meaningful projects, shape industries, and grow your career with a company that backs you every step of the way. We offer competitive remuneration, a clear career path, and a workplace culture that genuinely values your contribution.

If you're ready to take the next step and make a real impact — we'd love to hear from you.
