Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and flexible Catering All-Rounder to join our team. This dynamic role involves assisting in food preparation, customer service, and event work. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a can-do attitude, capable of adapting to various roles depending on the needs of the event or kitchen operations.

The hours will mostly be between Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, with additional hours available on certain nights and weekends. Immediate start.

Key Responsibilities :

Food Prep & Kitchen Assistance

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation and plating
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Event Setup & Service

Assist with setting up eventsServe food and beverages to guests, ensuring top-notch customer serviceReplenish food items and maintain cleanliness during service

Pack Down & Clean Up

Pack down eventsClean kitchen, service, and prep areas according to health and safety standardsWash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed

Logistics & Support

Assist with loading / unloading vehicles for off-site eventsTransport food, equipment, and supplies between locations (if licensed)

Requirements :

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or events (preferred but not essential)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and stay calm under pressureA proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to help wherever neededPhysical stamina – able to lift, stand, and move for long periodsAvailability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Desirable :

Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), if serving alcoholValid driver's license (optional but a bonus)
