The Opportunity:
Join KBR as we expand and strengthen our Land Systems Division in Melbourne We're seeking defence experienced Project Support professionals (must be AGSVA security cleared) with an interest in delivering complex and meaningful projects that support Australia's defence capability.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Australia's land systems programs and help shape the future of defence within the following branches:
- Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch
- Land Vehicle Systems Branch
- Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch
- Land Engineering Agency
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control project activities to meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Provide updates on project progress, address client concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to enhance overall project efficiency.
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and other relevant records.
- Possess a strong understanding of the respective industry, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Apply industry knowledge to enhance project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Other duties as directed.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Qualifications in engineering or project management
- Minimum of 2 years of related project management experience
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organisation, and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
