Locum Radiographer/Sonographer – Mackay, Queensland
Salary Range: $85 - $90 per hour
A locum Radiographer/Sonographer position is available in Mackay, Queensland.
- Travel and accommodation expenses will be fully covered for the duration of the assignment.
Contract Details:
- 8 – 12 week contracts available, with potential for extension.
Shift Times:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
- Maximum of 80 hours per fortnight
- Overtime payable after 80 hours
On-Call Shifts:
- Weekdays: 16:30 to 08:00
Candidate Requirements:
- Dual qualifications as a Radiographer and Sonographer.
- Experience in general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging.
- Proficiency in general ultrasound, including General, Obs/Gyn, limited MSK, breast, small parts, vascular, and pediatric imaging.
- Preferred experience with Australian healthcare settings, especially QLD Health or Mackay HHS.
- Familiarity with QDoc Booking System and PACS.
- Registration with AHPRA and ASAR.
- Mandatory competencies: Trophon certification, QLD Radiation Licence, skills in manual and patient handling, infection control, and managing aggressive behaviour.
