Payroll Supervisor

The Team :

We are a large and diverse team supporting approximately 8,000 employees across southern Tasmania.

The Role :

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Payroll Services team.
• Support the delivery of accurate, efficient, and consistent payroll processing.
• Oversee compliance with legislative and audit requirements.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll, leave, and personnel issues.

You will need :

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing payroll, leave, personnel, and records services effectively and efficiently, with the capacity to provide authoritative advice on complex issues.
• High-level experience in leading and working effectively as part of a team, including guiding, motivating, and developing staff to provide timely, quality, client-focused services.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial awards/agreements, policies, procedures, and directions related to payroll, leave, and personnel services.

Details of appointment :

Permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary : $107,899 to $122,292 per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution.
