Overview

Are you ready to take your mining career to the next level?

Thiess is on the lookout for skilled Truck, Multi-Skilled, and Excavator Operators to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Peak Downs Project in the Moranbah area. This role offers a lifestyle-friendly 7 / 7 roster, with 12.5-hour shifts. We are currently seeking DIDO and BIBO applicants only.

Responsibilities

As part of the Thiess team, you'll play a crucial role in :

  • Operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently to maximise productivity.
  • Adhering to Thiess' safety standards and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior working experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, or Excavators in a coal mining environment.
  • Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts) LMS documents, signed by SSE or Delegate.
  • Current Standard 11 – Statement of Attainment.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a positive safety culture.
