The Role

As our Senior Manager – Engagement and Development you'll develop and execute a powerful state growth strategy, forge dynamic partnerships across industry, government, and community, and champion the AUSTSWIM brand everywhere.

Key Responsibilities

Building and strengthening partnerships with aquatic centres, councils, schools, and community organisations.

Supporting AUSTSWIM Trainers and course delivery across Queensland.

Driving enrolments and awareness of AUSTSWIM's programs and professional development

Representing AUSTSWIM at industry events, conferences, and community forums

Working collaboratively with the National Office on projects, outreach, and business development.

Leading regional insights and stakeholder feedback to help shape organisational strategy.

Key Selection Criteria

A genuine belief in our mission – to deliver excellence in aquatic education and training.

Proven experience in business development, sales and stakeholder engagement, ideally in aquatics, recreation, education or sport sectors.

A passion for relationship-building, you're a negotiator, comfortable engaging at all levels.

Experience managing budgets and pipelines, with ambition and accuracy.

A highly independent self-starter mindset with strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.

Location

This is a full-time remote role, requiring regular state-based travel in the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast areas.
