Commercial Procurement & Contract Management Specialist

A leading government-focused organisation delivering strategic procurement and commercial services across complex maritime systems. This role supports high-value defence initiatives, ensuring robust contract delivery and performance management aligned with Commonwealth standards.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Procurement & Contract Management Specialist to provide strategic commercial services within a maritime systems environment. The role involves end-to-end procurement planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the successful delivery of defence capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic procurement advice and documentation.
  • Develop and implement procurement methodologies and contracting options.
  • Lead Commonwealth procurement processes including market approach, evaluation, negotiation, and contract establishment.
  • Manage contract ramp-up, transition, and performance.
  • Engage stakeholders and provide clear reporting and communication.
  • Prepare contract management plans and supporting artefacts.

Required Experience:

  • 8–11 years in:
  • Commercial Contract Management
  • Contract Delivery
  • Procurement and Contracting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proven experience in Commonwealth procurement frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-security environments.
