Overview

Project Accountant - Regional NSW - Major Road Project

Join to apply for the Project Accountant - Regional NSW - Major Road Project role at Bellwether Group.

Bellwether provide Project Management and support services to private and government clients Australia-wide. Our people come from major infrastructure backgrounds with hands-on experience in planning and delivering large civil infrastructure projects.

Contract

Contract duration is approximately 6 months with likely extensions. Local government role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of corporate financial systems
  • Project accounting including preparation, review, analysis and reporting monthly project reforecasts
  • Oversee the accounts payable function
  • Facilitate engagement with key stakeholders including funding bodies, contractors, Council partners and government agencies
Qualifications
  • Relevant professional tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology and/or significant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Local Government NSW Accounting Practices
  • Demonstrated ability in maintenance of corporate financial systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of key financial functions and processes
