About The Role

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will partner with the ANZ General Managers and other key stakeholders to understand the key commercial drivers of the business and provide actionable insights to support decision making. The role is responsible for continuous review and improvement of processes, including interactions with other areas of the business, to determine process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of finance and operations teams. The role also involves training and mentoring members of the Planning and Reporting team and encompasses process improvement reviews as well as participation in budgeting and reporting activities as required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to interpret and communicate commercial insights to decision makers
  • General understanding of business analysis concepts and related tools; including Power BI
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to analyse and interpret financial results, identify trends and add value through commentary
  • Ability to think through and solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated capacity to consistently deliver a high level of customer service and develop and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused approach
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 5+ years working experience in a similar role
  • CA / CPA certified or equivalent
  • Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting
