Site Supervisor

Overview

Zenobē is seeking a Site Supervisor on a fixed-term 12 month contract to deliver turnkey HV/LV electrical vehicle infrastructure construction projects. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and works with the Delivery Projects Team, Technical Sales, Product, Operations, and client teams. This position is site-based with potential work across multiple locations in the Sydney area.

The Opportunity

The Site Supervisor will establish themselves as the single point of contact for all site works, coordinating principal contractor and subcontractors to achieve project delivery objectives while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards. The role requires close collaboration with the senior PM to monitor client relations and ensure measures of success are met.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project on-site.
• Monitor the principal contractor and other subcontractors to ensure safe work practices in line with Australian Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect and monitor all aspects of construction work on a day-to-day basis.
• Escalate defects and non-conformances promptly.
• Ensure implementation of Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Waste Management Plans in compliance with Zenobe and Australian requirements.
• Directly manage contractors on site to meet contracted obligations and quality, safety and programme requirements.
• Keep detailed records of work progress, issues, and activities on-site.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to produce progress reports and lookahead schedules.
• Monitor and control project changes and variations.
• Provide problem-solving and facilitation support when issues arise.
• Interface directly with the client to maintain excellent client relations.
• Work across multiple sites as required within the Sydney metro area.
• Contribute to a culture of health and safety, wellbeing and sustainability in daily responsibilities.

What We're Looking ForEssential Competencies

• Relevant experience in delivering HV/LV electrical infrastructure construction projects.
• Hands-on experience interpreting civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings and standards.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, design and construction standards, and quality assurance.
• Relevant Health & Safety certifications (e.g., White Card, WHS qualifications).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-driven approach.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Desire to work in renewable energy and e-mobility sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full Australian Driver's License.
• Flexibility with working locations in Sydney.

Desirable but Non-Essential Skills

• Experience with electric vehicle charging infrastructure or similar.
• Experience delivering HV/LV networks in a hands-on capacity.
• Experience managing relationships with Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs).
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
• Project management experience.
• Commercial and contract management experience (AS/NZS 4902).
