About the roleThe primary purpose of this role is to lead the integration design and implementation between customers/hospitals online ordering system and Lifeblood's order management system. The aim is to automate the creation of customer orders in the system therefore eliminating the requirement for the order to be manually entered which will lead to efficiencies in the order management process.
Manage the evaluation of Lifeblood's Order Management System options and provide a recommendation and lead the business case definition, start-up, and execution of the Order Management System project.
A key component of the role will be managing both internal and external stakeholders along with the project team to ensure the project is delivered on time within budget and meets the business requirements/objectives and that system testing, documentation and end user training is managed in accordance with Lifeblood quality standards.
The role will also lead and support other projects within the smart supply chain program as required.
Responsibilities- Lead the integration design and implementation between customers/hospitals online ordering system and Lifeblood's order management system
- Evaluate Lifeblood's Order Management System options; provide recommendations; lead business case definition, start-up, and execution
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and the project team to deliver on time, within budget, and to meet requirements
- Ensure system testing, documentation and end-user training align with quality standards
- Lead and support other projects within the smart supply chain program as required
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and/or integrating customer order management systems to automate order reception
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and using customer service order management systems
- Demonstrated project management experience across supply chain and logistics systems
- Demonstrated experience in implementing ERP systems
- Proven experience in completing impact assessments including process, technology, people, and infrastructure
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT Systems, Project Management, or related discipline
- Significant experience in Supply Chain and Logistics operations
- Proven track record of managing change
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with tight timeframes
- Outstanding analytical, influencing and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to balance and respond to conflicting priorities from internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract rotating between WFH and our Melbourne Processing Centre. Lifeblood is proud to accommodate flexible working and we are open to conversations around what this means to you.
