We are excited to announce the opening of the Area Sales Manager position in our team based in Eastern Creek, Sydney. Our business has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 2 years, and we are seeking an experienced people leader to help drive our Customer First philosophy.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Your role will involve leading the Field Sales teams in Sydney and Wollongong, focusing on delivering profitable sales growth and increasing market share.

This position is crucial for developing the capabilities and effectiveness of our Field Sales teams through coaching and guidance, fostering deeper customer relationships, and ensuring all aspects of our business relationships meet or exceed customer expectations.

As a senior leader, you will contribute to shaping Bullivants' corporate strategy, customer value proposition, and strategic sales planning.

You will collaborate closely with our National Field Sales teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful workplace relationships and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing your team to achieve exceptional sales results.
  • Contributing to the formulation of sales and margin budgets for branches, territories, and products.
  • Reviewing sales performance against budgets and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies in collaboration with the National Field Sales Manager to surpass sales and margin targets.
  • Conducting regular fieldwork to develop team skills and maintain customer contact.
  • Supporting the long-term success of the sales team through development of current and potential team members.
  • Seeking growth opportunities through strategic planning and market analysis.
  • Nurturing key customer relationships by providing expert advice.
  • Prioritising safety at all times.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Ability to coach, lead, and conduct performance discussions.
  • A valid driver's license.
