Little Zak's Academy is privately owned and family run. Our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment. About the role- Receptionist (70-80%): General reception duties including answering phones, directing queries, printing, collation and distribution of weekly materials; maintain a bubbly, welcoming personality and a can-do attitude; assist with day-to-day operations of the Centre; manage office supplies; filing & scanning; maintain a clean and tidy office space/environment.
- Lunch Cover (20-30%): Covering a couple of lunch breaks while other Educators are on breaks; ad-hoc time on the floor to support ratio as required.
- Rotating rosters to support a great work/life balance

- Get mentored by our experienced centre management to implement/develop programs
- We are proud to be part of the Australian Government's Worker Retention Payment program. Eligible team members at Little Zak's receive an extra 10% on top of award rates from December 2024, with an additional 5% starting December 2025. This funding is fully supported by the government until November 2026. Little Zak's Academy is one of the few approved providers nationally to offer this benefit.

- Certificate III/Diploma/Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA approved) – desirable
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
- High level computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management and scheduling skills
- Demonstrated active listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, NQS, EYLF
