Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and influence through the full life cycle of the project from administrative and financial procedures and controls to procurement and costing
  • Based in the Mount Barker region initially, working on large-scale landmark projects with future work in Adelaide CBD and surrounds
  • Assist with the setup of the project including Head Contract Admin Guide, prepare and monitor procurement program, and prepare trade package tender documentation
  • Management of subcontractor procurement
  • Administration of the head contract and downstream agreements
  • Preparation of Subcontractor agreements including standard and special conditions tailored to specific trades
  • Responsibility for project completion documentation and assisting in compiling as-built documentation and Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • Preparation of cost control procedures and assist with monthly cost reports and forecasting of preliminaries and trade costs
Qualifications
  • Experience in contract administration practices and solid experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, construction law or other relevant discipline
  • Exposure to managing contracts within large project environments
  • Strong level of commercial acumen coupled with a demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and building strong relationships
