Peter Vickers Business Group, founded in 1979, is a firm of Chartered Accountants offering a full range of financial services, including tax, superannuation, SMSF and investment advice, audit and administration of SMSFs, finance broking, and insurance broking . We operate from offices in Lindfield and Windsor, serving clients both in Australia and overseas. As registered tax agents and company auditors with an Australian Financial Services Licence, we provide tailored financial and investment advice to individuals and businesses.

Our associated company, Peter Vickers Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, specializes in General Insurance brokerage.

Role Description

This is a part-time / fractional role for a Compliance Manager at our Lindfield, NSW location. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing and monitoring compliance policies and procedures, conducting audits, identifying and addressing compliance risks, and staying updated with changes in laws and regulations. Additionally, the role involves training staff on compliance matters and liaising with regulatory bodies and external auditors as may be necessary.

We are also open to hearing from Compliance Outsourcing Providers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Compliance Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Compliance Auditing
  • Knowledge of insurance brokerage industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in training and educating staff on compliance issues
  • Relevant certifications in compliance or related fields are advantageous
