About your new employer:
  • Our client is an independent professional body that represent medical professionals across Australia, promoting and advocating a higher standard in healthcare.
About the role:
  • Liaise and negotiate with Local Health Districts, hospitals and the Ministry of Health.
  • Provide advice on workplace and medico-legal matters, such as provision of contract advice, privacy and investigations and disciplinary matters.
  • Review, negotiate and draft contracts.
The ideal candidate:
  • 5+ years' PQE in Medico-Legal, Health, Employment, or Government Advisory.
  • A background from private practice, in-house, or a similar government legal role.
  • Experience in advising statutory investigations or disciplinary claims.
  • Confident working independently and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
