What you'll be doing

As a Graduate Information Technology Analyst at Alcoa, you will learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in:

  • Developing capability and expertise as a technology professional in supporting mining or refining operations
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of mining systems and software applications.
  • Assisting with project management duties associated with delivering operational systems and software applications.
  • Analysing operational data to troubleshoot issues arising from the use of IT systems in operations equipment.
  • Engaging directly with site-based customers to gather requirements and provide input into technology roadmaps.
  • Assisting in building standards and specifications for onboard operational technology installations.
  • Understanding and practicing safety procedures and controls to keep all Alcoans safe while working in an active operating area
