Base pay range

A$300,000.00/yr - A$350,000.00/yr

Are you a strategic finance leader looking to make a tangible impact? This is a rare opportunity to join a hyper growth, values-led organisation as Financial Controller, where you'll be a critical partner to a high-performing CFO and lead a team of 12 through a period of exciting transformation.

In this broad and influential role, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across financial reporting, financial operations and technical accounting
  • Drive financial transformation, with a particular focus on process improvement, automation and systems optimisation
  • Provide expert accounting advice, ensuring compliance and alignment with evolving business needs
  • Play a key role in a major ERP implementation, bringing your change leadership and technical experience to the fore
  • Partner closely with the CFO, executive team and business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives and continuous improvement

We're looking for a technically strong finance professional with exceptional leadership skills and a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset. You'll ideally bring experience in leading finance through ERP implementation and transformation in a complex environment.

Key Requirements:

  • CA qualified (preferably big 4) with strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Experience in property development, infrastructure or asset heavy industries desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience leading and coaching high-performing finance teams
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver transformation initiatives, including ERP or systems implementation
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A strategic, proactive and solutions-focused approach
