We're entering our next era — one defined by ambitious growth, innovation, and transformation — and we want a Group Financial Controller who will shape the business, not just report on it.

You'll work alongside with the Leadership team, influence major decisions, and lead the financial and commercial strategy that underpins our expansion in Australia and abroad.

Job Description

This is a senior leadership position, blending strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. The role requires a proven ability to manage multi-country finance functions, ensuring alignment with global compliance requirements and integration of international entities into consolidated group reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage all core finance functions – accounting, tax, compliance, reporting, cash flow, and forecasting.

  • Manage cash flow proactively, including oversight of accounts receivable and payable.

  • Lead year-end processes, including liaison with auditors, tax agents, and external advisors.

  • Review and improve financial controls, systems, and processes to support scalable growth.

  • Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team on strategic planning, scenario modelling, and business performance analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.

  • Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Operational Excellence & Process Automation

Standardize and automate reporting, controls, and compliance across the group to enhance efficiency.

  • Board & Stakeholder Engagement

Deliver accurate, consolidated insights to Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Board and key stakeholders—translating complexity into clarity.

  • Global Financial Management

Oversee and integrate financial operations across international entities, ensuring compliance with varied global regulatory requirements and aligning local practices with group-wide standards.

Why This Role Is Unique

  • Strategic Influence in a Design-Led Company

Lead across finance functions, closely aligned with group strategy and growth drivers.
