Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, this dynamic opportunity will have you leading various projects, as required and dictated by business need. The projects that you will lead will primarily be focused on the incorporation of changes to various aviation engineering projects.

Accountabilities
  • Managing project teams as well as providing support to the Program Manager
  • Managing project costs and being accountable for the project budget including reporting
  • Managing project schedules and developing/maintaining project timelines and deliverables including reporting
  • Managing project contracts, procurement and subcontracts in consultation with Northrop Grumman contracts/subcontracts team
  • Engaging stakeholders to influence project direction and outcomes through ongoing interaction with internal teams, customers and other project SMEs
  • Preparing thorough project plans and managing project governance
  • Providing project team leadership as required
  • Ensuring delivery within time, cost, quality and resource constraints
  • Project Change Management in accordance with NGA procedures
About You
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Competencies in Project Management in accordance with AIPM Level 3 - CPSPM
  • Proven experience in managing high-scale/complex projects, or multiple projects concurrently
  • Ideally experience in a Defence environment, though not essential
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management with skills in Advanced Project Management, Organisational Change, Business Acumen and Mentoring/Coaching
  • Engineering or Technical qualification in a related field
  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project Management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
