Event Floor Manager

This is the perfect role for an accomplished restaurant, event or banquet manager or supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, someone who will relish the opportunity to make their mark and help this already well-established business continue to evolve.

In this hands-on operations role, your key responsibility will be to ensure that events are delivered in accordance to event orders and activations are executed with the greatest of care. You will be the main point of contact for clients and suppliers.

You will oversee the front of house teams and use your staff management skills to develop and lead the team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience every time.

Supported by the event sales and senior management teams, you will also be responsible for rostering, shift management, oversight of stock management, sales and adhering to budgets.

You are someone who maintains high standards and is driven by the success of both yourself and others. You lead by example, have a vibrant personality, are professional and always well-presented.

An excellent communicator, with a willingness to take on new challenges, you will have demonstrated experience in premium event venue or restaurant environments, exemplary people management skills and a focus on nurturing a respectful work environment.

You will have a sound understanding of OHS and WHS regulations. You will offer quality and consistency throughout every service with a strong customer focus and sales orientation.

Exceptional time management, organisational, and planning skills complimented by strong administration skills and a high level of attention to detail are required to succeed in this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required and familiarity with event management software such as Venue Ops/ Momentus Elite is to advantage.
