  • About the role : Located in Townsville, reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high-performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with potential for permanent roles for the right candidates.

Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships.

  • What you'll need :

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent, or working towards it. View details.

  • Valid Australian full driver's licence for the state you have applied for.
  • Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid, and CPR qualifications.
  • Skills and experience :

Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24 / 7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers.

  • Passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability.
