Greencross South Tamworth is seeking a vet nurse with a bright, positive personality, an active problem-solving approach, an eye for detail, and strong, empathetic communication skills.

Details
  • Full-time hours (38 per week) can be over 4 or 5 days, or part-time hours can be discussed to suit you and the team.
  • Clinic hours are 8am - 6pm, with shifts within these hours.

The clinic primarily handles domestic cats and dogs but also sees a variety of cases including ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and occasionally kangaroos and tortoises. It has a long history of referral cases from across northern NSW.

Our dedicated team values continuous training and has diverse interests including orthopedics, ophthalmology, dentistry, and medicine. We utilize advanced equipment to offer services typically found only in major cities.

We foster a positive team environment with regular social events, treats, and fun themed days like "crazy scrubs day" every Monday. Many staff members have over 15 years of service, with some exceeding 30 and 40 years.
