Be among the first 25 applicants Job Description Are you a natural leader with a passion for veterinary care and team development? We're looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our well-established and highly regarded team in Tamworth.
This is a shared leadership role, working alongside an experienced manager to support a large and skilled team that services both small animal general practice and referral caseloads.
As a vital member of our leadership team, you'll take on a varied and rewarding role that includes: Overseeing clinic workflow and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a large, diverse team of veterinary professionals Coordinating rosters and processing payroll Managing recruitment, onboarding, and providing ongoing staff support Handling reception and administration responsibilities Supporting our after-hours and on-call service coordination Participating in hands-on nursing duties, including surgical and medical care We're seeking someone with: Proven leadership experience and a passion for team development Strong organisational and time management skills Confidence in leading within a high-paced, multifaceted environment A collaborative and proactive mindset Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Tech-savviness (RX Works experience is a bonus)A solid understanding of clinic operations and business management Background in veterinary nursing is highly desirable Why you'll love working with us: A long-standing, supportive team of 5 vets and 19 nurses and support staff with diverse and complementary skill sets A combination of small animal GP and referral cases Access to advanced equipment including CT and fluoroscopy A loyal and growing client base A training hospital setup including a viewing deck overlooking surgery for educational purposesIf you're looking to take the next step in your leadership journey and want to make a meaningful impact in a thriving, community-loved clinic, we'd love to hear from youSeniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full-time Job function Science Industries Veterinary
