About the role

The role involves various responsibilities across Accounts Payable, Mantel Group Team (payroll and expenses), Bank (reconciliation and cash flow), and General Accounting (fixed assets, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations). Key tasks include processing invoices, managing payroll and expenses, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial schedules. The role requires experience with payroll, reporting, and communication, and offers opportunities for career growth.

Your day-to-day

  • Accounts Payable
  • Enter and post supplier invoices in Sage Intacct for payment
  • Generate Vendor bills for Contractors
  • Accounts Payable and corporate credit card (Airwallex) management
  • Liaise with suppliers for any invoice queries and outstanding credit requests
  • Manage Vendor information & currency in Sage Intacct
  • Assist with process improvements

Mantel Group Team

  • Own expense management for all team members across Mantel Group
  • Assist with the carbon-neutral reporting process

Bank

  • Daily processing & reconciliation of bank accounts & clearing accounts, and allocation of receipts to accounts receivable
  • Assist with cash flow forecasts

General Accounting

  • Prepare Fixed Asset schedules & complete monthly reconciliation
  • Maintain Prepayment schedule and prepare & post journals
  • Support general finance queries (email inbox) & broader finance team
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for related accounts (AP, Prepayments, FAR, paid parental leave, payroll tax, novated lease - electric vehicle)

What you'll need to be successful

  • Proven experience working with Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
  • Previous experience running reports and supporting month-end closing
  • Ability to work well and collaborate within a friendly team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to manage your own workload and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Sage preferred
