About the Role

As an Assistant Accountant at Breville, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording and analysis of non-commercial financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting multiple entities within APAC and EMEA regions, you will contribute to key financial processes across the Breville Group Shared Services. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work three days in the office and two days from home each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily cash transactions.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Manage prepayments and intercompany transactions, including reconciliations.
  • Assist with end-of-month processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns for various EU countries.
  • Support the preparation and finalization of FBT returns.

We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • CPA/CA qualification completed or currently underway.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
