Overview

Female Support Worker - Folkestone - £12.34ph. All Female Support Workers need to be aware that they will be working across x3 Schemes Locations. Typical Shifts are: Weekday, Weekends and Sleep ins, Rotas can vary.

Responsibilities
  • Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a group of people.
  • Enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with minimal personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities.
  • Be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, or engage in activities such as playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, and support individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
  • Hold a full UK driving license and be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving license required.
  • Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.
  • Ability to be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
