    About Our Client

    A leading professional services firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their payroll team in an entry-level capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or career starters who are eager to break into the world of payroll and build a long-term career in finance and administration.

    Job Description
    • Prepare and process end-to-end payroll for employees accurately and on time.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, awards, and enterprise agreements.
    • Maintain payroll records and manage employee queries promptly.
    • Prepare reports for management and assist in audits as required.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
    • Update payroll systems with new hires, terminations, and changes in employment details.
    • Stay up-to-date with legislation and industry standards affecting payroll operations.
    • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the payroll function.

    The Successful Applicant

    A Successful Payroll Officer Should Have
    • A keen interest in payroll, finance, or HR administration
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Basic Excel skills; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus
    • No prior payroll experience required - just a willingness to learn
