Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Coburg is looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Director to join our growing team
About your new role- Assist with managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
- Effectively handle and manage the centre's staffing rosters and financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
- Actively participate in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.
- Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
- Previous 2 years experience as an Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
- Current WWCC, approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma qualifications.
- Demonstrate extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Ability to implement stimulating programs and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
- Ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
