Overview

Electrical Supervisor for the Infrastructure Maintenance team for Mining Area C and South Flank Hub. Reporting to the Superintendent Infrastructure and Services, you will lead and support a team of Electrical Technicians, Contractors and Fire System Inspectors in the maintenance of all non-plant infrastructure on site. The role is fly-in fly-out from Perth, 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations, namely with S26 Statutory Supervisor.
  • Monitor asset electrical integrity and compliance with statutory maintenance and inspection requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with electrical standards, weekly work schedule, operating standards and procedures.

The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Technical Expertise: WA "A grade" Electrical Licence or Engineering.
  • 1SAP, planning and work management experience.
  • Operational knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practices.
  • Safety leadership: A track record of championing safety initiatives, critical risk management, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems while ensuring efficient and sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset: Interpersonal skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
