We currently have the following opportunity:

Records and Information Assistant (Fixed Term until 30 June PKC12971

Salary: £26,766 - £29,131

Location: 2 High Street, Perth

We are looking for an individual with strong attention to detail to join the Records management team. The Records and Information Assistant will support the Records and Information Officer in overseeing records management activities.

You will work closely with the Records and Information Officer overseeing the lifecycle of records and ensuring these are kept accurately and in line with the Council's Records retention schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting day-to-day management of records management activities.
  • Assisting with records digitalisation.
  • Assisting the Records and Information Officer with creation and management of EDMS requests.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure compliance with records management best practices.

Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be able to work in records storage environments.
  • Be computer literate with proven IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Have experience managing personal or confidential information.
  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and/or other electronic document management systems (EDMS).
