The Opportunity
Are you a payroll professional with strong Employment Hero experience looking for a flexible, rewarding role? 4K Automotive Group is seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to support our Group Payroll function during an exciting period of systems transformation.
We're a people-first business representing some of Australia's most recognised automotive brands. With multiple dealerships and service locations across NSW, we pride ourselves on a strong team culture and commitment to operational excellence.
As we transition from Unipay to Employment Hero's integrated HR and payroll platform, you'll be instrumental in ensuring seamless payroll delivery and system adoption across the Group.
What You'll Do
You will support the Group Payroll Officer by assisting with the accurate processing of payroll across a multi-site environment. Key responsibilities include:
End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
Leading payroll tasks using Employment Hero (and Unipay during transition phase)
Ensuring compliance with awards, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations in collaboration with the People & Culture team
Reconciling payroll reports, STP submissions, leave balances, and employee records
Assisting with onboarding, offboarding, and payroll audits
Responding to payroll queries with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
Actively contributing to the rollout, testing, and optimisation of Employment Hero
What You'll Bring
Proven payroll experience in a multi-site, award-based environment
Hands-on experience with Employment Hero (HRIS + Payroll) – highly regarded and preferred
Familiarity with Unipay and transitioning between platforms
Strong knowledge of NES, STP, superannuation, and payroll tax compliance
High attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
