Denison College of Secondary Education - Kelso High Campus is a comprehensive secondary school with an enrolment of 820 students, including 160 Aboriginal students. Kelso High Campus is located in Bathurst, three-hours drive from the Sydney CBD and forms an innovative college structure with Bathurst High Campus as part of the Denison College of Secondary Education.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval and/or willingness to teach ITO - Industrial Technology – Automotives and a willingness to teach ITX -Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8).
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a faculty setting to develop innovative assessment and programming, while meeting faculty deadlines and facilitating professional development.
- Evidence of well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students from a diverse range of backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in order to improve student outcomes.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE. Applicants on the eligibility list will be offered the remaining FTE but are not obliged to accept. Further information can be found on the merit selection webpage.
Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (Conditions Apply). The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a pro rata basis for permanent part-time teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements.
A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
