We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to work within our team at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg, VIC. This role will suit candidates with a passion for delivering great customer service and who thrive on working in fast-paced environments.

This full-time role will work across Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm.

Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. We are passionate about ensuring residents and patients are well nourished, well cared for, valued and safe. Our services come from the heart and served with a smile

THE POSITION
  • Leading and coordinating a dedicated team
  • Overseeing the training, growth and development of the team members
  • Ensuring the team adheres to policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Assist with basic food preparation and delivery of meals to wards within the hospital
  • Check stock levels and place orders to ensure we have enough supplies
THE PERSON
  • Experience in leading people
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  • Experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control and process integrity
  • Flexible approach and attitude with excellent communication skills
  • NPC & WWCC: possess, or be willing to obtain, a national police check and working with children check
