The opportunity
The Communications Coordinator will support the broader Communications Team in developing and coordinating content for use across Regis. They will report to the Corporate Communications Manager.
This individual will collaborate closely with the Communications Specialist (Content Development and Projects) and Communications Specialist (Channel Management and Reporting) and support them in their deliverables. They will also be responsible for producing content in line with the corporate content and communications plans. Content developed includes but is not limited to writing articles, photography and video production.
The role is also required to ensure all content reflects the Regis brand, tone and writing style.
The important role you'll play
Key Responsibilities Include
Content Development
- Coordinate and write content as directed and in line with the corporate content plan.
- Create engaging corporate content for employee, resident, client, and family audiences.
- Create video briefs, write scripts and produce videos utilsiing Shootsta platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, People and Culture, Property, Business development teams) to gather and integrate content for corporate publications.
- Acts as a brand ambassador to drive consistency and ensure all content follows the organisation's brand guidelines, tone of voice, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that content deadlines are met, and any potential conflicts are raised to the Corporate Communications Manager
- Ensure all content is correctly named and stored in systems and communication platforms
- Manage the process for logging conferences, events and papers inline with the Corporate Communications Policy.
- Verify the accuracy and credibility of all information and data included in publications (including photography)
- Update the company profile document and relevant sections on communication platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Communications or related field
- Experience in video production and multimedia content creation highly valued
- Experience with social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and basic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to adopt and follow Regis' brand, tone, and writing guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, solid editing, and proofreading skills.
- Able to develop creative, engaging, audience-specific content across a range of channels.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Able to manage competing priorities, effectively prioritise work and achieve quality outcomes.
