We are looking for experienced Chefs & Cooks to join our client in Kilcoy, QLD.

In these hands-on roles, the selected candidates must:

  • Ensure food preparation and quality are of the highest standards.
  • Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines.
  • Maintain hygiene standards required by regulations.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized during and after service.
  • Assist the head chef with cost control and help meet budgeted profit and targets.
  • Work independently and harmoniously with the team.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification full-time experience in prep and à la carte cooking (Lunch & Dinner).
  • Relevant industry-recognized trade qualifications.
  • Experience in fast-paced, service-oriented, and quality-focused venues.
  • Guest-oriented and passionate about food.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work split shifts if required.
  • Positive attitude and team player.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and position. SID 482 Sponsorships considered.
