Description:

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic all-rounders with a variety of experience to work in our master production kitchen, our residential care facilities and cafes. The Food Service Assistant role is to ensure a high standard of meal services are provided to residents, staff, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring customer needs and dietary requirements are met and updated on residents' records.
  • Maintaining high standards of personal and operational hygiene practices.
  • Maintaining adequate supplies of beverages, food, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and consumables.
  • Performing general cleaning of service kitchen, dining room and equipment.

Skills and Experiences:

Key Role Requirements:
  • Full working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Current Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable).
  • Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Highly developed presentation skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
