TheOpportunity Weare looking for a motivated Team Leader to join the KununurraLeisure Centre (KLC) team to provide leadership, coordination ofquality aquatic and recreation services and programs, and to managethe operations and maintenance of the KLC pool plant rooms,building and equipment as we move towards a new modern andintegrated leisure centre. Your key responsibilities willinclude:

• Coordination of the dutyroster for KLC staff, and training and development to ensurethe team has the skills and qualifications to carry outrequired duties
• Developing andcoordinating aquatic and dry centre programs including SwimSchool
• Collaborating withmanagement to develop strategic initiatives (e.g. events, opendays, or seasonal programs), marketing campaigns, andpartnerships to maximise community participation and revenueopportunities within the KLC
• Coordinating theimplementation of maintenance projects at the KLC and itsfacilities
• Ensuringall financial records, bookings and receipting of monies iskept in an accurate and efficient manner
• Monitoring water qualitytesting results to ensure pool water meets the WA HealthStandards
• Performing reception,lifeguard and other duties as required

Essential qualificationsinclude a Western Australian Swimming Pool Managers certificate orequivalent Australian certificate, breathing apparatus and poollifeguard qualifications, current WA Working with Children Check(or ability to obtain), and current Senior First Aidqualification.

You will alsoneed experience as a Team Leader or Duty Manager in an Aquatic andRecreation Centre, operational experience with swimming pool plantrooms and chlorine gas systems (preferable), high-level knowledgeand experience of aquatic and recreation facility operations, andthe ability to lead and supervise a team.
