Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Program Operations Manager, located in Victoria. The Program Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of outdoor education programs. Day-to-day tasks include managing program logistics, supervising staff, ensuring safety standards are met, liaising with schools, clients and community groups, and developing new program offerings. Additionally, the role involves ensuring all equipment is maintained and ready for use, and working closely with the GM to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • Experience in program planning, coordination, and execution of outdoor activities
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards and risk management in outdoor settings
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients
  • Experience in equipment management and maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education, Physical Education, or related field is preferred
  • First Aid certification and WWCC essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in conducting training sessions for staff is beneficial
