About you :
In your new role you will;
- Provide high-level psychology assessment, consultation, therapeutic intervention, and discharge planning for paediatric patients and their families, especially when symptoms are exacerbated by psychological distress and adjustment difficulties.
- Utilise advanced communication skills to offer professional advice to medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, community organisations, and patients and their carers regarding clinical and health psychology matters.
- Facilitate and contribute to clinical research, education, and training activities within the work unit and across the broader service to support quality patient outcomes.
- Perform most tasks independently, including providing complex and varied clinical services.
