Overview

34 hours per week - working hours and days negotiable. Band 6 - starting at $48.00 ph ($84,866 - $92,391 per year pro rata) + super.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process Council FOI requests in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic).
  • Assess requests, prepare documentation, liaise with stakeholders, and support reviews and complaints processes.
  • Support integrity, transparency, and access to information; contribute to governance and ensure privacy and information management compliance.
What We're Looking For / Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in processing FOI requests, preferably in government or legal settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and document review capabilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A relevant qualification in law, public administration, or information management is desirable; experience with legal research and interpreting legislation is advantageous.
