Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our established and dedicated team.

Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

As a site based Occupational Health Nurse you will provide timely and competent treatment and advice for injuries and illness at Murrin Murrin Operations (MMO).

You will be responsible for:

• Providing treatment and advice to all personnel to minimise the effects of injuries and to maximise injury recovery rates.
• Encouraging an improved level of awareness amongst employees and contractors on health issues and healthy lifestyle options.
• Delivering training which imparts skills and knowledge of injury treatment and management practices and procedures.
• Providing timely and accurate statistics and information to line management to assist injury and illness prevention initiatives.
• Delivering advanced emergency first aid training to Emergency Response Team members.
• Assisting with managing Workers' Compensation cases.
  
  

About You

This role would suit a motivated health professional looking for an opportunity to support and educate people in site health and safety.

You will also have:

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Immunisation Certificate and HLTPAT005 Drugs of Abuse Testing (Essential)
• Current & Valid C class manual Driver's Licence (Essential)
• Previous experience working in emergency or in a remote area nursing role
• A working knowledge of Injury Management and Rehabilitation practices and procedures
• Ability to work autonomously to align with site medical guidelines
• Approved Audiometric Officers Certificate and the ability to conduct spirometry testing (Desirable)
