We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee product, supplier, and process quality for ANZ. This pivotal role involves planning, designing, and implementing quality standards and procedures to meet Eaton's customer and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work independently with customers, internal stakeholders, contractors, and auditors to ensure timely resolution of non-conformance reports and oversee the document management system.

Key Duties :

  1. Act as a key liaison for quality matters across the organization, providing regular updates to senior leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align quality goals with business objectives.
  2. Coordinate with external certification bodies to maintain ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications, ensuring readiness for audits and inspections.
  3. Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Eaton Quality System tools. Analyze data to identify trends and lead efforts to reduce non-conformances and enhance quality.
  4. Identify potential challenges and proactively implement solutions to streamline processes and facilitate effective quality practices.
  5. Lead cross-functional root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  6. Collaborate with service teams, partners, and suppliers to address quality issues such as Field Service Bulletins (FSBs) and warranty returns, conducting failure analysis and driving resolution.
  7. Develop and maintain an internal audit program, training and mentoring internal auditors to ensure compliance with policies, ISO standards, and regulations.
  8. Oversee the document control system, ensuring proper classification, retention, and accessibility of quality documentation.
  9. Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards and company quality goals.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with process improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma, or Black Belt certification.
  • Internal and external audit certification.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders and customers.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and Visio is advantageous.
