Position Summary

Be part of the Moxy Crew as a Cook. This role involves preparing and presenting food to standard, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and contributing to a high-energy service environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, with attention to detail
  • Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food
  • Serve food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles
  • Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently during service
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to exceed guest expectations
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment
  • Maintain strong food safety and property standards
Qualifications
  • Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
  • Passion for the industry
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Working rights in Australia
