About Our Client

ITW is a Fortune 200 organisation, who are one of the most highly respected industrial manufacturers in the world. Globally, annual turnover is over $16 billion across their five business units, including business solutions, construction, and residential. This newly created Finance Manager opportunity sits within their construction division and will play a key leadership role within the new shared services finance structure. This opportunity is in Dandenong offices and offers 2 days' work from home flexibility per week.

Job Description

  • Leadership: Lead a team of 3 accounting professionals in areas of system accounting, compliance + controls, and finance projects.
  • Business Partnership: Successful and continual business partnering with all senior stakeholders, including IT, sales, and other finance leaders.
  • Compliance: Ensuring ongoing compliance with financial laws and guidelines across the organisation.
  • Systems: Design and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
  • Compliance: Lead the compliance accountants to complete the statutory compliance obligations across ITW APAC.
  • Audits: Coordinate of the internal and external audits for the ITW APAC Construction divisions.
  • Projects: Management of internal projects and challenging the status quo.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a CA / CPA-qualified professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. You will have previous finance experience in a multinational organisation, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment. Commercial use of the Microsoft Office suite and Pronto accounting software would be considered advantageous.

With a proven track record of leadership, you will have successfully managed finance teams and worked within a matrix structure. You'll have results-driven mindset, combined with strong attention to detail and decision-making skills, enabling you to influence key decision makers. A curious and pragmatic approach to work and business improvements will be a key attribute in this position.
